Meal Delivery to the Unhoused

Food is essential to life - Therefore Make It Good!

We began the FREE McHenry County Meal Delivery Program in March of 2023. The program serves Veteran and civilian unhoused people.  It not only provides healthy vitamins and nutrients, but is also a means of Engagement and Trust building with those living outside. Many of our friends living outside receive LINK to purchase food, however, when lack of adequate food storage and refrigeration is not present, the "go-to" is snacks or fast-food types of grocery shopping. This program delivers 3 large-portioned meals per person, per week. We all know that a good, nutritious, home cooked, Chef prepared, meal can be very important!  

As most know, a body needs nutrition to think clearly, feel physically well and survive living outside.
